Overview

Parkhill is seeking to hire an Electrical Professional Engineer to join our growing team. This opportunity is open to any Texas or Oklahoma Parkhill office. This role has the opportunity to support and enhance a wide range of Electrical Engineering projects, associated with commercial building design. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
  • Manage the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting.
  • Train/mentor staff on the use of Revit, AutoCAD and more.
  • Train/mentor staff on electrical building design requirements.
  • Review project details to proactively manage risk.
  • Evaluate observations and design systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
  • Lead design teams in the preparation of plans, specifications, and other related bid/construction documents.
  • Develop relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Professional engineer registration (PE) in Texas or OK.
  • Proficient in computerized design software’s including, but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKM.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
  • Detailed understanding of project engineering methods with the ability to lead project design start to finish, taking into account time, cost and resources.
  • An effective communicator with all levels of employees.
  • Possess strategic and effective delegation skills.
