Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall success of the project, interfacing with the Client as the representative of the firm on a project and upholding the firm’s mission by balancing inventive and relevant project solutions
  • Acts as the key connection between the firm and the client 
  • Meets, manages, and successfully communicates between the Client and the Project Team during the duration of the contract
  • Understands, develops, and maintains the project scope, schedule, fee structure, and budget targets to ensure a successful outcome
  • Responsible for efficient use of firm resources by controlling project costs and staff and balancing utilization and profitability
  • Leads the Project Team to meet or exceed the identified profitability targets

Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (or eligible to get in Texas through reciprocity)
  • 7+ years of transportation design experience
  • Proficiency of roadway design software such as Microstation, Geopak or OpenRoads
  • Previous employment/experience working with TxDOT preferred
