Overview

We are seeking an Interior Design Student to join our team and gain practical experience in a professional design environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to various design projects, including client presentations, project documentation, and field verification. In this role you will also assist with coordinating educational presentations and managing the Parkhill Sample library. This position provides valuable exposure to the interior design process and is ideal for a motivated student looking to build their skills in the field.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare client presentation and project construction documents.
  • Assist in coordination with manufacturers’ representatives and team members.
  • Assist in Field verification and documentation.
  • Coordinate educational presentations and maintain the Parkhill Sample library.

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a CIDA accredited university with an anticipated graduation of May 2026 or later
  • Completed sophomore level credit requirements preferred.
  • Eager to learn, self-starter and task oriented.
  • A passion to grow in the interior design profession.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with team members inside and outside the office; virtually and in-person.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, REVIT, Microsoft Office and InDesign.
  • Availability to work in the office a minimum of 15 hours per week.
