Overview

Parkhill is looking to hire a Project Control Specialist to join our Water Resources team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to and expand our expertise in water resources by collaborating with a talented civil engineering team. This is a full-time, exempt role, compensated on a salary basis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts for multiple projects.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for technical inquiries from the project team.
  • Adhere to and follow project execution plans.
  • Manage engineering, procurement, construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control activities.
  • Monitor resource loading and scheduling progress.
  • Document and track changes to cost reports and forecasts.
  • Develop and manage schedules at various levels of detail.
  • Generate various scheduling reports and determine the most appropriate reporting format.
  • Develop, review, and validate pre-programmed project scheduling reports, ensuring backup documentation is accurate.
  • Collaborate with the project team to assess schedule progress.
  • Analyze schedule management using critical path method techniques, project estimating, cost management, and forecasting.
  • Perform material takeoffs as required.
  • Assist with project forensic analysis when needed.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables.
  • Conduct field audits to ensure the accuracy of reporting and processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, along with at least 1 year of direct project controls experience.
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • OSHA 10-hour safety certification (or ability to obtain).
