We are seeking an experienced Treatment (Water/Wastewater) Business Development Leader to join our team and drive project and firm success. In this crucial role, you will provide expert leadership, ensuring excellence in developing business opportunities for our strategic growth. As a face of our firm, you will represent Parkhill in the DFW region, demonstrating expertise for civil engineering solutions to clients, partners and industry leaders. Responsibilities

  • Develop opportunities in DFW in major areas of water resources and water/wastewater treatment.
  • Coordinate with Parkhill’s Marketing and Business Development Teams to develop and execute a business development plan for the DFW Region.  Integrate with the overall strategy of the Treatment Sector’s Strategic Vision and Operational Plan.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, team partners and industry leaders.
  • Develop North Texas Strategy to win Treatment work.
  • Identify Opportunities / Future Project work & Coordinate Win Plan with DFW design team
  • Represent Parkhill at council / commission meetings / conferences / seminars.
  • Work across Sectors and office locations to fully utilize Parkhill’s experiential knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional engineer registration in TX.
  • Prefer at least 10 years of experience specializing in either water resources and/or water/wastewater treatment.
  • Expert level knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
  • Setting goals with a focus on the long-term needs of Parkhill.
  • Experience working with state, regional and/or local public agencies - municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties and/or state agencies.
  • Experience working with State and Federal Funding agencies.
