Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

• Prepares AutoCAD Civil 3D layouts for complete drawing packages and assists in selecting and preparing applicable standard details
• Assists in developing and preparing non-standard and complex design details
• Utilizes AutoCAD Civil 3D software to support engineering teams
• Assists engineers with project material quantities for cost estimating
• Prepares basic layouts of project elements such as site grading designs, roadway alignments, and site survey control systems
• Understands scope of work, project-specific required CAD Standards, and uses good judgment to determine if the drawings will comply with the scope of work, known regulations, and client expectations
• Works with industry experts to develop permit level and construction level plan sets

• Associate’s degree in computer aided design software, or a related field

  • Or 1+ years of experience in Computer Aided Design

• Ideally possess a working knowledge of civil engineering projects

• Preferred familiarity with ArcGIS and survey coordinate systems

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong spatial skills

• Possess the ability to adapt and adjust as challenges present themselves

• Possess the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of team members

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team on simultaneous projects
