Overview

Under close supervision, the Water and Wastewater Treatment Student Intern performs routine tasks that support engineering and design efforts related to municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering with an interest in treatment processes. This is a part-time, non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assists engineers and project teams in the preparation of design documentation and a variety of civil engineering treatment projects.
  • Assists with technical reports, permit applications, and graphics.
  • Assists in collecting field data and test samples.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of computers, computer aided design and other relevant software and hardware tools.
  • Student status in Civil Engineering or an appropriate related discipline at an accredited college or university.
