Overview

The Interior Designer is responsible for design development, material selection, and documentation throughout all phases of a project. This role plays a key part in guiding projects from conceptual design through construction administration, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful, high-quality design solutions. The Interior Designer will contribute to impactful, purpose-driven projects within the community sector, enhancing public spaces that serve and inspire.

Responsibilities

  • Transform creative solutions, concepts, and information into presentations
  • Collaborate and coordinate with consultants, contractors, owners, and team members
  • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, budget, and requirements
  • Document code review and compliance, reviewing shop drawings, project submittals, and more
  • Prepare project construction documents and specifications
  • Travel required

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Interior Design or equivalent
  • Registered Interior Designer in the state of Texas or eligible through reciprocity
  • 6-10+ years of experience 
  • Proficiency in Revit 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook required
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign graphic software preferred
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam
