Structural Engineering Student

Under close supervision, performs routine tasks requiring knowledge of fundamental engineering, mathematical and construction concepts. Provides support to engineers, CADD supervisor, or project team in the preparation of structural designs. This is a part-time, non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

• Participate in team collaboration meetings reviewing project details.
• Assist in the creation of preliminary foundation and framing systems in Revit.
• Assist in selecting and preparing applicable standard details.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Student status in Civil Engineering or an appropriate related discipline at an accredited college or university.
• Proficient in the use of computers, computer aided design and other relevant software and hardware tools.
