Overview

The BIM Manager is responsible for advancing Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, workflows, and implementation across all disciplines at Parkhill. This role ensures that BIM processes align with the firm’s strategic objectives for innovation, quality, and efficiency. The BIM Manager works closely with the Vice President of Design Technology, project teams, and external partners to maintain consistency, technical excellence, and continuous improvement in digital design delivery. This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on a salary basis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage firmwide BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Design Technology team to design and deliver BIM training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Create and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) on projects to ensure compliance with client and firm requirements.
  • Partner with contractors, consultants, and other market partners to optimize BIM coordination and delivery processes.
  • Participate in industry learning communities, including Autodesk University, as a contributor.
  • Manage BIM content libraries, including family libraries, templates, and plug-ins.
  • Conduct BIM software testing, evaluation, and implementation in coordination with the Design Technology team.
  • Lead BIM orientation and onboarding sessions for new employees on Parkhill standards and workflows.
  • Manage BIM outsourcing projects to ensure quality and standards meet Parkhill requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of BIM-related design and/or construction experience, demonstrating progressive technical knowledge and responsibility.
  • Proficiency in customization through programming and scripting (Revit API, Dynamo).
