Overview

The Recruiter role creates and posts job descriptions, sources candidates through various channels, and collaborates with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. The Recruiter manages the entire recruitment process, from screening and interviewing candidates to ensuring a positive experience throughout, while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on an annual salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. 

Responsibilities

  • Creates compelling job descriptions and posts openings on various site utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) iCIMS
  • Utilizes a range of sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify talented potential candidates
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements
  • Reviews resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates
  • Conducts initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews with hiring managers and teams
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience from application through to onboarding
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements during the hiring process
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, preferred
  • Understanding of fundamental recruitment processes and practices, including job postings, screening, and interviewing
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and job requirements in a dynamic work environment
  • A strong commitment to providing a positive candidate experience and addressing any candidate inquiries professionally
  • 10-15% Travel to Parkhill offices and Career Fairs
