Overview

The Electrical Graduate Engineer provides design and project support to the MEP/S Electrical team in the preparation of electrical building systems deliverables, utilizing BIM and other design tools while gaining progressive experience toward professional licensure. This is a full-time position paid on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with MEP/S electrical building systems design, including lighting, power distribution,
    grounding/bonding, communications/low voltage coordination, and fire alarm systems
  • Use computerized design software to prepare design assignments and construction
    documents
  • Collaborates with team members on project scope, design criteria, specifications,
    schedules, and deliverable milestones

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related engineering discipline)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM) and comfortable learning additional MEP/S
    design and analysis tools
